John Mauldin is the organizer of the FAST-START Social Marketing 2.0 Seminars. He currently operates a consulting practice in Frisco, Texas, where he and his associates assist companies in the areas of Business Development, Franchising, M&A, Business Brokerage. He and his associates also operate the Academy for Business and Franchise Broker Training.
For forty years, Mr. Mauldin has been engaged in Franchise Development and Business and Franchise Brokerage. He is credited with the design and development of many of the most successful franchise programs in America including: ERA Real Estate, Fantastic Sam's Family Haircutters, BlockBuster Video, Jiffy Lube, Popeye's Fried Chicken and Jazzercise, to name only a few.
With an intense desire to aid his clients in successful ways to grow their businesses, he began to research the internet as a means to grow and diversify his client's activities. Borrowing on his knowledge and expertise in building successful "brick and mortar" companies, he decided to launch his first website in early 1996 to "test" his ideas.
Mauldin's first attempt, a website catering to a unique "niche" market, netted him almost overnight success. Since that time, he owns and operates a number of successful websites in a variety of industries.
Armed with the knowledge he developed from his own website operations, he began sharing his expertise with clients to enable them to expand their businesses by using the internet as an adjunct to their existing business.
